What is massage therapy?

What can I expect from my 1st massage session?

At your initial session, you will complete a health history form and address your concerns and goals with your therapist. Once treatment has been determined the therapist will leave the room and you will get on to the table. Then therapist will knock and re-enter the room

Do I have to take all my clothes off?

No, you can receive an effective, therapeutic massage regardless of what clothing (if any) you choose to remove. Your comfort is a top priority, you will always be draped with a sheet to ensure your privacy. If at anytime you feel uncomfortable due to pain, treatment or draping please advise the therapist. Before and after the massage, you will be able to dress and undress in complete privacy.

How often should I get massage?

Depending on your preventative and maintenance needs, (sometimes we say 3-5 visits could be needed on a more frequent basis) but our ultimate goal is to get to one massage per month. The therapist will design a customized treatment plan.

Can I get massage if I am already in pain?

With the appropriate pressure, massage can have a direct effect on the circulatory system, which helps reduce inflammation and relieve pain. Keep good communication with your therapist about the pain/comfort level at anytime during your massage

Will I experience muscle soreness after massage?

It’s not uncommon to feel some muscle soreness after a massage. Sometimes last 24-48 hours

How long is a massage?

Massage lasts a full 30/60/90/120 minutes from the time therapists starts session. If therapists runs late with previous session you will always get the full time. Time could be varied if client is not on time for their scheduled session, it will be adjusted accordingly

Do you accept insurance?

No, but if client had a prescription from a physician you will not be charged sales tax. HSA Cards are accepted

Do you offer massage gift certificates?

Yes we do! Massage Therapy is a great way to show someone how much you care. Must be purchased in office

How old do you need to be for Massage Therapy?

It all depends a clients comfort level as to age, if under the age of 18 a parent must accompany the client and fill out paperwork, parents are welcome to be in the room with their child to aid in their comfort level
